Many users of this new OS feel that the Taskbar of Windows 11 is too big and also too small for some other users. So far there are still no settings to adjust Windows 11 taskbar size. However, it could be that in the future, through Windows Update, this Taskbar settings feature will be available to Windows 11 users. How to Adjust Windows 11 Taskbar Size

1. Open REGEDIT

The first step is to open REGEDIT by typing in your Windows 11 search "REGEDIT" or you can also open REGEDIT by pressing the WINDOWS + R key and then type "REGEDIT" and click OK.

2. Open Advanced Folder

After that navigate to,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

3. Make a New DWORD (32-Bit) Value

In Advanced, on the right side, you do right-click and select New > DWORD (32-Bit) Value and name it "TaskbarSi".

Name it TaskbarSi


Then open the TaskbarSi by clicking 2x and entering the value you want. The value here consists of 3 numbers, namely 0 (Small), 1 (Medium / Default), and 2 (Large). So, for example, if you want your Taskbar to be small, enter the number 0. Then click OK. Close REGEDIT and Restart your PC or Laptop.

Now you can adjust Windows 11 taskbar size. It's easy, right. To see a comparison between the Windows 11 small, medium/default, and large Taskbars, you can see them in the image below. If you want to return the Taskbar size to the default Windows 11 setting, you can repeat the above method and enter the number 1 to make the Taskbar size back to default.
